DLB Associates provided expert professional services in connection with the performance of preliminary design, preparation of contract drawings, specifications, and construction estimates for a wide variety of projects encompassing either new construction or rehabilitation of existing structures. Projects have included work on the 3 major metropolitan airports, Port Authority Bus Terminal in Manhattan, the George Washington Bridge, and the Holland Tunnel among others.
The State Of New Jersey
DLB Associates was selected to provide engineering and design services for specific project assignments for various agencies of the New Jersey State Government. This term contract is for 3 years with projects ranging in size with fees up to $250,000 per project. Approximately 95% of the engineering and consulting projects for the State's Division of Property Management and Construction are awarded via this term contract.
NJSEA Meadowlands Sports Complex
The NJSEA Meadowlands Sports Complex is one of the country's premier sports and entertainment facilities, hosting almost 8 million guests and dozens of televised events each year. The Complex is home to the NFL's Giants and Jets, the NHL's New Jersey Devils, the NBA's New Jersey Nets, the Big East's Seton Hall, the Meadowlands Racetrack, and hundreds of special events.
DLB Associates provided the engineering services for a comprehensive self-funding retrofit project that essentially upgraded all of the mechanical and electrical systems for this entire complex including Giants Stadium, Continental Airlines Arena, and the Meadowlands Racetrack. DLB Associates is currently on call to the Meadowlands to provide mechanical, electrical, and troubleshooting services for their ongoing operations.
