AE Program Services are a follow on or extension of PM Services in that they are applied at a Program (or multi-project) level.  As with the PM Services, AE Program Services need to be tailored for each Program but activities may include:

Research new technologies



Research technologies that are not commonly used in the Program’s primary industry but are common in other industries



Develop potential applications for these new technologies

Conduct long term broad, comprehensive study of options for the design, operation and maintenance of Program projects.



Program Level Adds, Moves, & Changes To Existing Program Projects



Changes to multiple existing projects as a part of a Program wide initiative



Services can widely vary as required (none, minimal, or provide full services)


Operational Help Desk / Support at a Program Level

AE Project Services not only encompass the design services traditionally provided by Architectural and Engineering Consultants, but have a more holistic approach to the coordination of the design as well as integrate seamlessly with CM Services:

Campus / Site Planning and conceptual design



Land Development (e.g. mass grading, stormwater management)



Public utility interface and onsite private plants (power substations, water, sewer, & storm)



Site infrastructure (e.g. roads, piping, ductbanks, etc.)



Full Design Services including an iterative approach with Schematic Design and Design Development phases.



Multiple Document Sets specific to a given purpose (e.g. permit , pricing, contract, construction, etc.)


Construction Administration


AE Services support during construction (shop drawings, submittals, RFIs, etc.)



Manage interactions with the Authority Having Jurisdiction (e.g. Code Officials, Townships, etc.)
